SiteSay never takes a screenshot on its own. A visitor has to choose to select a region and attach it, you'll only ever see what they decided to share.

Who this isn't for

If your workflow needs a Kanban board, client permission tiers, and deep PM-tool syncing for a multi-round review cycle, a visual annotation tool like BugHerd or Marker.io is built for that on purpose, and does it well.
If you need full error monitoring and performance tracing across a growing engineering org, that's Sentry's job, not this widget's.

Does this slow down my site?

The core script is 4.33kB gzipped and loads passively. The feedback form and screenshot capture only load when a visitor opens the widget or an error occurs, so there's no upfront weight added to your pages.

Do my users need an account to report something?

No. Visitors can report a bug, an idea, or general feedback with zero friction or authentication required on their end.

Where does the report data go?

Reports are sent to and stored on SiteSay's servers, not stored locally on your site. You'll need a SiteSay account to view and manage them.
